Completion of the first phase of water storage Project in Protection and Renovation of the ancient city site in Luoyang
Yesterday, the
"Luoyang Evening News" reporter witnessed the changes of the ancient
city site in Luoyang after implementation of protection and remediation
projects. The landscape lake has been filled with clean water and the whole
site looks like a watery town.
It is understood
that the total investment of this project is RMB 8.5 billion yuan, which covers
an area of 1360 mu (1 mu =0.0667
hectares), building area of 600,000 square meters. Buildings were proposed to
be built in the Ming and Qing architectural style. After this project is done, the
area will become an economic development zone with culture, tourism, business
and leisure component, making it has rich historical and cultural connotations,
furthermore, a landmark of Luoyang city with modern feel and rich local
characteristics.
