Collections in National Museums along the Silk Road” was
launched in the National Museum of China. The National
Museum of China co-organized this exhibition with national
museums of countries that are located along the Silk Road,
including Cambodia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Mongolia,
Oman, Poland, Korea, Romania, Russia, Slovania and
Tajikistan. It carefully exhibited over 234 historical objects
(sets) dated to multiple ages in a wide range of categories
to represent the cultural interactions among civilizations
along the Silk Road in the fields of immigration, economic
exchange, technical communication, dissemination of
religions and life styles, and mutual influences in cultures
and arts.
