During the Tang Dynasty, Luoyang was inhabited by a large number of Sogdians. It was really significant to establish a cooperative relationship now. Prior to this, the Luoyang C ity Cultural Heritage and Archaeology Research Institute had carried out a series of overseas archaeological work, including the search for Hun Court in Mongolia and the study of Yuezhi people’ s history in Tajikistan.
