Report by Shaanxi Channel of CRI Online: At the recently-concluded Third Silk Road International Exposition and the Investment & Trade Forum for Cooperation between East & West China (Hereinafter referred to as “The Third Silk Road International Exposition”), Fengxi New City of Xixian New Area inked 9 projects with a total investment of RMB4.77 billion, including the Northwest Commercial Complex Project of Fengxi New City, the China National TCM Industrial Park Project, and the Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor Hospital Project.

Fengxi New City positioned itself as “a science and technology innovation industry cluster and an emerging strategic industry base” at the event. The 12 strategically-selected high-tech products the city showcased at the Expo captured the latest technology trends in such innovative and disruptive fields as big data, IOT, smart manufacturing, UAV, artificial intelligence and sponge city.

Many visitors expressed their amazement and delight as they examined the products on display such as UAV for military purpose, transmission components that enjoy a competitive edge over their European and American counterparts, an interactive driver training simulator and smart Chinese seals.
