An exhibition now at the Summer Palace offers glimpses into the lives ofcourt ladies in the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.Beautiful Women, Graceful Manner showcases 95 pieces includingexquisite costumes, embroidery and furniture, as well as classical Chinesepaintings and calligraphy, all from the collection of Beijing Art Museumlocated inside the Wanshou Temple.
The exhibition runs through Sept 12.
