“Embracing the Orient and the Occident-When the Silk Road meets the Renaissance” exhibition opened at the National Museum of China on June 9. The exhibition was Jointly organized by the National Museum of China and the Hunan Provincial Museum, this exhibition integrates the cultural relics of 42 museums, more than 200 pieces from 24 Italian museums and 18 domestic museums to tell the story of exchanges between China and Italy.This exhibition brings together exquisite Chinese and Western art that spans time, space and media. In addition, this exhibition offers a thoughtful reflection on the subject of cross cultural artistic exchanges led by forefront research experts from the interna- tional academic community.
