The second and third seasons of lecture series on "Wind from the Silk Roads:The Silk Roads in Central Asian Experts Eyes" jointly organized by IICC-X, School of Cultural Heritage of North- west University, School of History and Culture of Shaanxi Normal University and Dunhuang Institute of Lanzhou University were held in Xi'an.

On May 11, during the second lecture season, the Director of the International Institute for Central Asian studies (IICAS), archae- ologist from Kazakhstan, Mr. Dmitry Voyakin was invited to Xi'an. He delivered a brilliant presentation on topics such as "Archaeol- ogy, application and protection of the ancient city of Taraz, Kazakhstan" and "View the Silk Road from the perspective of Kazakhstan archaeologist" at Northwest University, Shaanxi Normal University and Northwest Polytechnic University. More than 100 students and local researchers attended the lectures.
