On September 22, “Niya·Archaeology·Storythe 30th Anniversary of China-Japan Archaeological Cooperation of Niya Site" opened in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum.

 

The exhibition displays more than 300 pieces (groups) of rare and fine antiques unearthed at the Niya Site in Xinjiang, including the reproduction of tomb No. 8 which is displayed to the public for the first time to echo the profound history and civilization of ancient Niya in Xinjiang, China and also its historical vicissitudes. The national treasureFive stars rising east benefit China" brocade arm protector attracts a great many visitors, which was first unveiled in Xinjiang in 1999. The exhibition consists of three parts: “Niya Archaeology, Story of Hundred Years”, “Magnificent Monument, Oasis Civilization” and “Forge Ahead with Brilliant Achievements”.
