SHEIKH MUSLIHIDDIN

The ensemble of Sheikh Muslihiddin is valuable because in this unique surviving building of architecture the skill of the Khujand architects and builders of the 12th-13th centuries and the 19-20th centuries was brilliantly reflected. They masterfully preserved the remains of magnificent patterns of medieval decorative art - fragments of mosaic decoration of walls, wood carvings and ganchs (alabaster) with modern.

The ensemble of Sheikh Muslihiddin is valuable because in this unique preserved object of architecture where the skill of Khujand architects and builders of the 12th-13th and 19-20 centuries reflected on masterly combined and preserved magnificent examples of medieval decorative art - fragments of mosaic decoration of walls, carvings on wood and ganch with modern ones. The ensemble is also valuable because it where was buried the outstanding Khujand poet-democrat and educator, craftsman-rocket Toshkhodja Asiri.
