紫铜钟
紫铜钟.宋.尉氏县.石刻及其他.新增.河南省第一批省级文物保护单位紫铜钟,又名宋铜钟,是河南省尉氏县的一处著名文物保护单位。它原挂于县城东关的太平兴国寺内,与太平兴国寺塔同为该寺的重要设施和组成部分。紫铜钟铸造于宋真宗咸平二年(公元999年)十一月二十八日,并于咸平三年四月十七日悬挂。钟身高五尺五寸,围一丈一尺,厚二寸五分,八齿,形式浑厚,工艺精良。
紫铜钟的钟顶上有“皇帝万岁,重臣千秋”八个大字,每两字中有一眼,共四眼;腹部按八方排列,方方有文,除南方文字全被剥蚀外,其余各方字迹大部清晰可见。钟声悠扬,据传宋时击之,声达汴京,皇帝闻其声清越,命移至汴京,但挂起后击之无声,于是又还给了尉氏,并涂其响眼。后来,紫铜钟被移至县署大门谯楼上。明万历二十三年(公元1595年),邑侯阮公甫倡议就地创建钟鼓楼,第二年春落成,将钟悬挂其上。
紫铜钟不仅是尉氏县的历史见证,也是中国古代铸造工艺的杰出代表,其精湛的工艺和深厚的文化内涵吸引着众多游客前来观赏。它在1956年被河南省人民委员会公布为省级文物保护单位。紫铜钟现位于尉氏县鱼市街11号,游客可以前往参观,感受其历史与艺术的魅力。
