ICCROM and ICOM Sign Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen collaboration for museum and heritage conservation
2024年11月22日，国际文化遗产保护与修复研究中心（ICCROM）与国际博物馆协会（ICOM）签署谅解备忘录，延续了双方长期以来的合作伙伴关系，以强化双方在保护、开发与利用博物馆藏品这一造福人类的宝贵财富方面的共同承诺。
多年来，ICCROM与ICOM开展深入合作，包括联合出版和翻译、合作开展能力建设和宣传工作、积极参与彼此的管理结构等重要举措。
这次续签的合作伙伴关系旨在应对博物馆在当今瞬息万变的环境中所面临的挑战和机遇，充分挖掘基于馆藏工作的潜力，为人类福祉、地球可持续发展、繁荣与和平提供支持。
ICCROM总干事阿鲁娜·弗朗西斯卡·玛丽亚·古杰拉尔表示：“通过这次续签的战略合作伙伴关系，我们将整合各自的专业优势和全球网络，在危机时期加强对博物馆的保护，改善馆藏文物的保存与可访问性，并通过馆藏工作推动可持续发展。我们将通过共同开发能力建设项目和在线培训资源，继续提升全球博物馆专业人士的能力，尤其是关注非洲博物馆的发展。
ICOM主席艾玛·纳尔迪表示：“今天，我们在加强双方组织关系方面迈出了重要一步。教育是在快速发展的世界中取得进步的关键，教育不仅是将过去的知识传递给现在的人，更在于培养人才和塑造未来。”
通过该谅解备忘录，ICCROM与ICOM重申，他们将致力于增强博物馆的能力，使其成为文化遗产的守护者和积极变革的推动者，并将可持续发展教育作为优先事项。
On 22 November 2024, ICCROM and ICOM renewed their longstanding partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their shared commitment to conserving, developing, and utilizing museum collections as invaluable assets for the benefit of humanity.
Over the years, our collaboration with ICOM has included significant initiatives such as joint publications and translations, collaboration on capacity building and advocacy efforts, active participation in each other's governance structures.
This renewed partnership aims to address the challenges and opportunities faced by museums in today’s rapidly changing environment to fully unlock the potential of collections-based work to support people, planet, prosperity, and peace.
“With this renewed strategic partnership, we will combine our expertise and global networks to enhance the protection of museums in times of crisis, improve the conservation and accessibility of museum collections in storage, and promote sustainable development through collections-based work. We’ll continue to develop capacity in museum professionals worldwide, with a particular focus on African museums, and through the joint development of capacity-building initiatives and online training resources,” said ICCROM’s Director-General, Aruna Francesca Maria Gujral.

With this MoU, ICCROM and ICOM reaffirm their dedication to empowering museums as guardians of cultural heritage and agents of positive change, prioritizing Education for Sustainable Development.
