缅甸历史文化遗产震后速报
引言 | Foreword
2025年3月28日发生的7.9级强震致使缅甸遭遇重大损失,据央视新闻与新华社最新通报,截至4月14日,缅甸28日发生的强震已造成3689人遇难,另有5020人受伤,约221人失踪,我们向所有遇难者致以沉痛的哀悼。地震也对缅甸曼德勒-实皆-内比都沿线众多的文化遗产造成了毁灭性打击,约有150座寺庙和宝塔损毁,曼德勒皇宫、马哈牟尼佛寺、梅努寺、阿瓦大桥等重要建筑损毁严重或变为废墟。数百座佛塔、寺庙坍塌,人类共同文化遗产存续正面临严峻考验。
为此,亚洲遗产管理学会特发布系列“缅甸历史文化遗产震后速报”,呼吁全球社会关注缅甸历史文化遗产的珍贵价值及震后损毁情况,共同守护人类文明的瑰宝。

01 遗产概况
劳卡陀塔曼昂佛塔(Lawka Dottha Man Aung Pagoda, လောကဒေါက်သမန်းအောင်စေတီတော်),位于缅甸位于因瓦古城(Inwa)外城北部,GPS坐标为北纬21°51′54.1″,东经 95°57′51.9″。其基座长宽均为42英尺,整体高54英尺。据考其建造年代可追溯至良延时期(Nyaungran Period)末期,具体捐赠者已不可考。

02 建筑特色
劳卡陀塔曼昂佛塔基座平台呈八角形,自钟形塔顶至第三层塔身之上的蕉蕾造型,皆以层叠舒展的蕨叶纹饰过渡衔接。第三层及其以上的圆锥形尖顶附有莲花。钟状圆顶和塔身均装饰有花灰泥,整体由十七重锥形相轮层叠而成。下层平台的每个角落都立有狮子雕像。该塔用于供奉Shwe Hyo。佛塔被矮墙包围,四向皆有入口。

03 损毁情况
由震后照片显示,劳卡塔拉普佛塔在此次缅甸地震中遭受了严重破坏。佛塔顶部结构完全坍塌,砖石散落一地,基座也有一定程度的损坏,内部红砖大量裸露。周围的装饰性元素也被摧毁,导致佛塔的外观和艺术价值遭到极大损失。

Post-earthquake Express News on Myanmar's Historical and Cultural Heritages
Foreword
The 7.9-magnitude earthquake that struck on March 28, 2025 caused heavy losses to Myanmar. According to latest reports,as of April 14th, the strong earthquake that struck Myanmar on the 28th has resulted in 3689 deaths, with another 5020 injured and approximately 221 missing. We extend our deepest condolences to all the victims.
The earthquake also dealt a devastating blow to numerous cultural heritage sites along Mandalay - Sagaing - Naypyitaw region, with about 150 temples and pagodas damaged. Important structures such as the King Palace, Mahamuni Pagoda, Me Nu Oak Kyaung, Innwa Bridge have suffered severe damage or been reduced to ruins. Hundreds of stupas and temples collapsed. The survival of the common cultural heritages of mankind is facing a severe test.
To this end, the Asian Academy for Heritage Management has released a series of "Post-earthquake Express News on Myanmar's Historical and Cultural Heritages", calling on the global community to pay attention to the precious value of Myanmar's historical and cultural heritages and the damages condition after the earthquake, and jointly protect the treasures of human civilization.

01 Heritage Overview
Located in the northern part of the outer city of the ancient capital Inwa, Myanmar, the Lawka Dottha Man Aung Pagoda (လောကဒေါက်သမန်းအောင်စေတီတော်) stands at GPS coordinates 21°51'54.1"N, 95°57'51.9"E. This pagoda survives as an architectural legacy from the end of the Nyaungran Dynasty period, though historical records remain silent regarding the specific identity of its original patron.

02 Architectural Features
The lower platform is octagonal shape and is constructed by breaking the shape of a fern from the bell-shaped head to the banana bud above the 3rd step of spire. There are lotuses in the 3rd and above conical spires. It is decorated with floral stuccos in front of the bell shaped dome and the strike, and the pagoda has 17 rings of conical spires. There are lion statues in each of the corners of the lower platform. The pagoda is dedicated to Shwe Hyo. The pagoda is inside the precinct wall and has 4 entrances.

03 Damages Condition
Post-earthquake photos reveal that the Lawka Dottha Man Aung Pagoda suffered severe damage during the Myanmar earthquake. The top structure of the pagoda completely collapsed, bricks and stones scattered on the ground, and the pedestal was also damaged to a certain extent, with a large amount of exposed red bricks inside. The surrounding decorative elements were also destroyed, resulting in significant loss of the appearance and artistic value of the pagoda.
