会议简介
线性遗产和文化线路是世界遗产的重要类型，具有呈线性排列、反映文化的交流与互动、跨越较长时间和较大空间等特点，在保护与管理上都存在较大难度。中国江苏省扬州市是世界遗产大运河与长江航道和海上丝绸之路的交汇点。为了加强对于这类特殊遗产的保护和管理，扬州市人民政府、UNESCO世界遗产培训与研究中心和北京大学考古文博学院于2016年11月19日至20日在中国江苏省扬州市举办“大运河与海上丝绸之路国际学术研讨会”。
该会议旨在以基础研究为出发点，针对中古时期具有文化商贸交流性质的港口城市，其构成的文化线路，覆盖的文化区域，由点及线，由线及面，展开历史信息、价值评估、保护管理和展示利用等多方面的研究。
